Our History 

Cotati Food Service is a 70-year-old foodservice distributor serving Northern California. With roots in the egg business, the company has grown into a full-service distributor servicing restaurants, hotels, breakfast houses, caterers, grocery stores, and manufacturers.
 
Through the years, as the company's product line increased, the name changed to reflect that growth. Originally Oretsky Eggs, the company became Cotati Brand Eggs, Cotati Brand Eggs and Food Service, and, in 2000, Cotati Food Service. The company now offers a complete line of refrigerated and frozen foods, dry goods, and nonfood items.
 
Evolving from an egg supplier to a full-service foodservice distributor, the company continues to expand the number of customers it services and the products it supplies. The company's logo - redwood trees - reflects more than just its local foundation. It also represents the company's stature and stability - tall and strong.
